There are many advantages to using low voltage track fixtures. These include: Improved beam spread - many lamps available from spot to flood. Energy Efficient - a 75 watt low voltage lamp can often be used in place of a 150 watt incandescent lamp. White Light - low voltage lamps provide a whiter, truer light than incandescent lamps.
